Rumble in the bronx

Well I had my first full day here in Connecticut, I got up bright and early at 8:30 which was more like 5:30 for me, Jeremy, Rachel and I met his pastor Steve and his wife and drove to a church called the Sanctuary. It's a small street church in the bronx, it reminded me alot of the First Nations street church I went to in Vancouver.
Steve Kelly gave a message and after we went around prayed for people, and we even got prayed for at the end of it, it was a really good time there.
After that, Jeremy, Rachel and I went a few stores down to a pizza place where I had pretty much the best pizza I've ever had in my life, those americans can sure make some pizza...
After lunch we went with a group of people to go pray for a lady who had MS and was in a wheelchair, although she didn't get up and do a riverdance, she did get a little movement in one of her legs briefly, so we're praying for a continual healing for her.
This evening I pretty much just relaxed, Jeremy, Rachel and I played some Yahtzee, later me and Jeremy watched a movie and played some more Yahtzee, I managed to score an astonishing 429, yes that's right, believe it.
Most of the people down here have these crazy accents, it almost sounds like they are all just faking it for a good laugh, well at least I find it pretty funny. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I promise I won't come back sounding "loik a nu your-ker"

Have you enjoyed any of the Dentyne Mints yet? According to Jincy, they're very refreshing.
